I studied film making, communications, and elementary special education in college. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in media arts and entertainment and started a freelance photography business. When photography didn't quite pay the bills, I took other jobs where I put my creative skills to work on graphic and web design.
I took an online course in full stack web development during a break between jobs to learn how to code. I have been a UI/UX designer for the past 3 years and have created responsive websites, mobile applications, and digital marketing materials. In my free time I do yoga, read fairy tales, speak Scottish Gaelic, and think about why humans laugh.
